Dee Glen-Walker, Finance Ministry Specialist
Dee was born in East Saint Louis, Illinois but spent very little time in that city. She lived in Germany with her family the first 8 years of her life and moved to Fort Worth, Texas (which she calls “home”) at the age of 12.
Dee married Bill, her high school sweetheart in 1967, and they have been blessed with four sons and three grandchildren. Dee and Bill celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary in April 2017.
Through the witness of friends and family, Dee received the Lord into her life at the age of 27. He has been faithful to encourage, teach, discipline, and guide her through the joys and trials of life.
Dee’s work career included jobs in bookkeeping, accounting, software training, and project management. She retired in 2012, but says she didn’t actually “re-tire”….instead “re-treaded” and kept on going.
She teaches ESL (English as a Second Language), helps care for her aging mother, enjoys a good book occasionally, and loves spending time with friends and family.
Dee is happy to be “on board” at The Mission and looks forward to using the gifts and talents the Lord has given her through the role of Financial Ministry Specialist.

Jill Lienemann, Ministry Specialist
Jill Lienemann grew up in South Dakota but dreamed of “somewhere over the rainbow.” Confirmed in the faith at a Lutheran church, she walked away from the Lord in her early adult years to see what the world had to offer. After a few years, and a solemn incident, Jill returned to God and dedicated her life to serve Him in whatever manner He wanted. The world opened up and she experienced people and places that were far from her backyard.
She earned an Associate Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology and worked in that arena for 11 years. After going on her first mission trip to Russia in 1993, she resigned from her lab career and sold her house to move to Lewisville, Texas, to help a church plant. Jill has been in hands-on ministry training through several non-profit and church positions including administration, men, children, youth, and international missions. In 2009, she launched her own consulting business assisting others who want to initiate short-term global mission trips and writing trip devotions on her blog site.
Jill’s passion is to see others realize their potential in the Kingdom and fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20). Her hobbies include crafting, cross-stitching, and repurposing items for new uses.
