Sundays at The Mission

Since Jesus rose from the grave, the people of God have gathered Sundays to give him glory in creative ways. We celebrate God in song, seek him in prayer, hear from His Word, share testimony of his grace, encourage one another, remember Jesus’ sacrifice (in the Lord’s supper), and sometimes share in a big family meal together after church.

Anyone is welcome, including people who are searching for meaning, skeptical of religion, have been hurt by church, or are just plain curious. At The Mission, you can learn, grow, and heal at your own pace. You’ll find us to be a warm, welcoming extended family of all ages, life stages, and backgrounds.

Sunday Gathering times:

10:30 am – Worship Service
Each Sunday we gather to honor our Lord and Savior through musical worship, offering, teaching, and various kinds of prayer. We have multiple worship teams and involve many people from the body. Our typical rhythm is to celebrate communion on the first Sunday of the month and enjoy a Sharing Service (w/testimony form the church family) on the third Sunday. Get Directions.

9:55 - 10:10 am – Power Up Prayer
Join us for an uplifting time of prayer in the sanctuary led by someone different each Sunday. Children are welcome.

Childcare:

Young Missionaries Little Feet, infants & toddlers, deserve more than just babysitting. At The Mission, they receive quality care by screened & trained volunteer staff who provide a Gospel lesson even the littlest disciples can understand. The nursery for newborn to 2 years old is located in the Sanctuary building (nearby for parents). Nursing moms are welcome to sit and rock with their babies, and don’t have to miss out on the service (audio feed available).

Young Missionaries Little Shoes and Sandals is our age appropriate discipleship for children 2-6th grade occurs in the Family Life Center (building just to the left of Sanctuary).
A secure check-in system is used to keep kids safe until parents pick them up after the service.

You’ll find staff and volunteers standing by classrooms & doorways, available to answer any questions you have and help you find your way.

Attire:

Our church family is made up of people from all seasons and walks of life. So you’ll meet people dressed in everything from flip flops to a coat & tie. Jesus emphasized the condition of our hearts over the style of our clothes, so come as you are, ready to give God worship.

Snacks:

Before & after service, coffee, water, & breakfast snacks are free for your enjoyment. Snacks provided at Young Missionaries are nut-free (due to peanut allergies). Come early to meet others who love the Savior and want to see His kingdom come in our City.

Family Meal:

Once per quarter, we enjoy a “Family Meal” lunch after church pot luck style (similar to the love feasts celebrated by the early church). The table is open and everyone’s invited, first-time visitors included. The Lord always provides enough food and it’s a great opportunity to get to know one another.
